At the Science Supplies Give-Away Gala, teachers receive surplus UCSF supplies and equipment to augment their lessons, and are introduced to the Daly Ralston Resource Center and SEP Programs.

In the fall of 2003, with the help of about 15 UCSF volunteers, SEP distributed two moving truckloads of consumable supplies and durable equipment to almost 100 SFUSD K-12 teachers. The majority of these science supplies was from labs that moved from the Parnassus campus to the Mission Bay campus.
