Nominations:
Recruitment of UCSF Fellows follows a three stage
nomination process. The call for nominations is typically
announced late in the calendar year. A candidate must be
nominated by a mentor/advisor who is able to comment in
some depth on the accomplishments and future potential of
the candidate. Subsequently, selected candidates will be
asked to arrange for additional letters of recommendation,
and to submit a brief research plan. We normally interview
selected candidates in the spring, and aim to appoint the
next UCSF Fellow to start in the second half of the year.
We also encourage inquiries regarding future positions at
any time.
