Heading North on Highway 101: Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and take the Alexander Avenue exit (the second exit after the bridge). Stay to the right and merge onto Alexander Avenue, and then take the first left turn. Go straight to the tunnel entrance. Follow the directions continued below.*
Heading South on Highway 101: Take the second Sausalito exit (the last exit before the Golden Gate Bridge). Turn right and follow the road under the highway. Go straight after the stop sign and then take the first left. Go straight to the tunnel entrance and follow the directions continued below.*

Continued: Wait for the green light before proceeding through
the tunnel. Continue on the main road (Bunker Road) and follow the signs
to Rodeo Beach and Fort Cronkhite. After crossing a small bridge and driving
around Rodeo Lagoon, the road will fork. Take the left fork. Look for
the Headlands Institute sign on your right. Turn right at the sign, then
take the first right into our parking lot; DO NOT park in the first row,
which is reserved for Park Rangers. The administrative building (Bldg.
1033) is to the west, toward the beach, and the campus is to the east.
