C&G - 9 AM, four business days before agency deadline. As of 10/2009, C&G will not review or submit any applications submitted after this deadline and will return any incomplete applications.

C&G deadline policy

BIOCHEM - Due 2 weeks prior to the agency deadline. Submit to Laura Baxter or Susy Velasco.
Application forwarded to C&G by their deadline.

C&G Electronic Procedure: Same deadline as above. After review, C&G emails to PI the approval to submit electronically.

NIH PUBLIC ACCESS PROCEDURES

As of 5/25/08, all investigators funded by the NIH must submit to PubMed Central an electronic version of their final, peer-reviewed manuscripts no later than 12 months after the official date of publication. All MSS without PMIC numbers must be submitted to the NIH Manuscript Submission System (NIHMS) as soon as accepted for publication. The resulting NIHMSID number will be acceptable for 12 months, giving time for the PMIC number assignment. The NIHMSID is required for pubs reported on progress reports when the PMIC-ID is not yet available.

PUBLICATIONS listed on NIH BIOSKETCH forms should include freely available URLs or PMC ID numbers.
