NIH eRA COMMONS Request an eRA Commons account RPPR (eRA COMMONS) Progress Reports. If a UCSF grant award has SNAP status, the continuation (progress) report is submitted via the Commons, and is due 45 days before the start date of the next fund period. RPPR (Research Performance Progress Report) is the new report system, still being piloted, that replaces the PHS2590 hard copy and the eSNAP online reports. NIH PUBLIC ACCESS PROCEDURES As of 5/25/08, all investigators funded by the NIH must submit to PubMed Central an electronic version of their final, peer-reviewed manuscripts no later than 12 months after the official date of publication. All mss without PMCID numbers must be submitted to the NIH Manuscript Submission System (NIHMS) as soon as accepted for publication.
