with mutant telomerase become senescent. They are abnormally large, do not divide properly and eventually die. |

| In our research we have marked yeast telomeres with a fluorescent molecule. We hope that by visualizing telomeres we can better understand how mutant telomeres lead to aberrant cell growth. |
