| I am interested in the mechanisms that control synaptic
structure and function. I have been working on Intersectin/Dap160,
a multiadaptor protein that has been shown biochemically to bind proteins that have diverse functions including synaptic vesicles endocytosis, regulation of the actin cytoskeleton and signal transduction. I am also using the genome-wide RNAi resource to screen for genes involved in synaptic growth and in the homeostatic mechanisms that regulate synaptic function. |
