The Science & Health Education Partnership (SEP) is a collaboration between the University of California, San Francisco and the San Francisco Unified School District. Scientists and educators from both organizations work in partnership to support quality science education for K-12 students.

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is a graduate biomedical research institution consisting of four professional schools and a graduate division. Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, faculty, medical students, pharmacy students, and other health students and professionals from UCSF comprise SEP's pool of scientist volunteers. Each year, over 300 UCSF volunteers contribute approximately 10,000 hours of service.

The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is a large and diverse urban school district with a history of achievement in science education reform. Each year, over 400 SFUSD K-12 teachers and their students participate in SEP programs, representing 80-90 percent of SFUSD’s schools.

ROAD CLOSURE: Medical Center Way will be closed at the bottom of the road (near Parnassus), from August 19, 2008-June 2009 due to construction.
