Dr. Eric Chow is the Director of the Center for Advanced Technology (CAT). The CAT is an open-access core facility in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of California, San Francisco. The mission of the CAT is to bring transformative technologies and capabilities to UCSF that will advance research on campus. Besides running the CAT, Dr. Chow is interested in developing novel uses of Next Generation Sequencing as well as rapid pathogen and biomarker detection.
